About Bobby Dollas
Bobby Dollas began his professional hockey career as a first round draft pick in 1983 and played 700 NHL games during his career. He played for the Canadian National Team, The Winnipeg Jets, Quebec Nordiques, Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Calgary Flames and was Captain of the Anaheim Mighty Ducks during the 1997-1998 season.

Former NHL Defenseman Bobby Dollas joins the Contact Image team and launches
October 4, 2007 - It’s been 5 months since large format print specialist Contact Image was bolstered by new ownership and transformed into a revitalized company. With a new management team in place, new systems and upgraded equipment on the floor and a new and dedicated sales and customer service team, the energy at Contact Image is running high.
To add fuel to the fire, former NHL Defenseman Bobby Dollas has joined the new management team and has launched the Sports & Entertainment Division of the company.
The Sports and Entertainment Division will provide large format printing and advertising solutions as well as special marketing programs and networking events to sporting goods manufacturers and retailers; sports organizations and clubs; sports centers (stadiums, ski centers, golf clubs, etc.); race promoters, tournament and event organizers as well as to the hospitality sector and entertainment-based companies.
Asked why he decided to make the jump from hockey player and coach to the business world, Dollas explained, “From the time I started playing professionally, I was impressed by the incredible power of promotion and marketing. I’ve been on teams where the marketing was handled skillfully and I’ve seen the difference it can make in the success of a franchise. I feel that my experience with media and promotion, teamed with Contact Image’s expertise in large-format printing and advertising, will give clients in the sports and entertainment industry a competitive edge.”
